The signing of Smyths Toys Superstores represents a key milestone in the project’s lifecycle and will act as a catalyst for further investment, development and the continued regeneration of the retail park.
Kevin Keigher, Asset & Development Manager from The Peel Group commented, “Both Peel and the local authority recognise the strategic importance the regeneration of the Peel Centre has to the borough of Hyndburn, both in terms of job creation and catering for customer demand within the catchment. It is extremely pleasing that Peel and the LPA are continuing to work productively and collaboratively in delivering the refurbishment project and welcoming further retailers to the park.
