Aldi supermarket has opened a new store at Hyndburn Retail Park in Blackburn,
The supermarket chain has signed a 20 year lease for the 1,951sq.m. (21,000 sq ft) newly developed unit at Hyndburn Retail Park, on Whitebirk Drive, located immediately off J6 of the M65 Motorway. the new Aldi store, joins existing retailers including the recently opened B&M Bargains, plus Smyths Toys, SCS and Sofaworks.
Roger Wheldon, Development Director said: “The opening of Aldi, combined with the newly opened B&M Bargains, is set to further increase footfall to Hyndburn Retail Park, driving repeat visits from a new audience of convenience shoppers. These are shoppers who will visit more frequently for groceries and convenience goods, thus bringing further trade to the retail park. The new retail line up creates a very attractive and convenient new offering for the local catchment of almost 800,000 shoppers.”
